As clearly and transparently mentioned on our website, EIU-Paris operates under French authorization as a private higher education institution. While this authorization allows us to legally deliver academic programs and confer degrees, our programs are offered exclusively in English, and our degrees are not classified as traditional French-type degrees. Consequently, EIU degrees may not automatically be recognized as nationally accredited degrees in some countries, particularly for public sector employment or regulated professions.

Many countries follow conventional frameworks that require degrees to align with specific national standards, including language of instruction, program structure, and local accreditation. For instance, some countries require programs to be delivered in the national language or degrees to meet specific national qualification frameworks to be eligible for public sector recognition.

However, recognition of EIU degrees remains feasible in contexts where authorities or employers adopt a more open-minded and globally oriented perspective. EIU degrees are highly valued in the private sector and by organizations with an international outlook. Our qualifications are supported by robust international accreditations, such as ASIC accreditation (UK), which demonstrates compliance with recognized global academic standards.

We are not interested in pursuing accreditation from the French Ministry of Higher Education. While we are fully authorized and operate under both the National Education and Higher Education Ministries in France, our primary focus has always been on maintaining and expanding our international accreditation.

Important Advisory for Students Seeking Professional Licensure or Registration

The European International University (EIU-Paris) is a legally established, private, and independent higher education institution in France, operating under the official authorization of the French Ministry of National Education (Ministère de l’Éducation Nationale), Registration Number 0756213W, dated 02 April 2019. Under this legal framework, EIU-Paris is fully empowered to design, deliver, and confer its own institutional degrees in France and internationally.

Understanding the Nature of EIU-Paris Degrees

The degrees awarded by EIU-Paris are institutional degrees, meaning they are issued under the academic responsibility and authority of the institution itself, as permitted under French private higher education law. These degrees are not French national diplomas (diplôme national) and do not fall within the French national qualifications framework.

Despite this, EIU-Paris degrees are academically credible and globally recognized — thanks to rigorous quality assurance systems, international accreditations, external rankings, and memberships in reputable professional bodies.

If you are seeking to use an EIU-Paris qualification for purposes such as:

EIU-Paris does not guarantee that its degrees will automatically meet the requirements of professional licensing or regulatory bodies in any specific country.

Each country, and in many cases each state or province, has its own licensing rules and recognition standards that may be independent of university-level accreditation. These authorities often require additional national exams, local qualifications, board registration, or professional training hours beyond your degree.

Examples of International Acceptance

While professional licensure is regulated locally, it is worth noting that EIU-Paris degrees and certifications have been accepted by various international institutions and professional bodies. These include:
   •   Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Singapore – EIU-Paris graduates have successfully used their degrees to obtain an Employment Pass via the Complementarity Assessment Framework (COMPASS).
   •   International Education Evaluations (IEE), USA – A NACES-approved credential evaluation agency, IEE has assessed EIU-Paris degrees as equivalent to regionally accredited U.S. degrees, enabling further study or employment in the United States.
   •   Saudi Arabia Ministry of Education (MOE) – Through its official Foreign Qualifications Evaluation Department (الإدارة العامة لمعادلة الشهادات), under the Agency of Universities, Scholarships, and Academic Accreditation (وكالة الجامعات والبعثات والاعتماد الأكاديمي), EIU-Paris degrees have been evaluated and recognized as equivalent to nationally awarded degrees in Saudi Arabia, following their formal equivalency process.
   •   Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK), UAE – ADEK has accepted EIU-Paris professional training certifications for the extension of work visas and continued employment of teaching and academic staff in schools across the UAE.
   •   Acceptance by employers and universities worldwide, particularly in regions where transnational education is well understood and institutional degrees are recognized based on academic quality, content, and delivery model.

Your Role as a Prospective Student

Before enrolling in any EIU-Paris program for the purpose of licensure, registration, or regulatory clearance, it is your responsibility to:

• Check with the relevant licensing or regulatory authority in your country to understand their requirements.
• Verify if institutional degrees from international private universities are accepted for your intended purpose.

Non-acceptance or non-recognition of a degree by a particular country’s local authority (such as MQA in the Maldives, UGC in India or Sri Lanka, or UK ENIC, etc.) does not render the degree fake or invalid.

EIU-Paris is a legally established and authorized institution in France. European International University (EIU-Paris) is officially authorized by the French National and Higher Education authorities to provide programs through distance learning mode, which is considered a modern and emerging learning method of the 21st century. It is important to clarify that this mode of delivery and assessment does not categorize the university as an online university. EIU-Paris offers all its programs as regular programs, and therefore, the degrees obtained by students are regular degrees. It is crucial to dispel the misconception that equates the mode of delivery and assessment with being an online university or obtaining an online degree. In reality, there is no such thing as an online university or an online degree. Merely because the learning is conducted through online, distance, or self-paced methods does not render the university or its degrees as online or irregular. EIU-Paris ensures that the quality and recognition of its programs are maintained, adhering to the standards set by the French higher education system.

Admission Process for Degree programmes:

1.) Your admission is not complete without the necessary supporting documentation that must be submitted to the EIU Academic Team for review.

2.) Upon verification of your documents, you will receive your Acceptance Letter.

3.) Once you accept the offer, the corresponding invoice shall be created and sent to you.

4.) You must then settle your fees as per the deadline.

5.) After payment has been received, you will be officially on board to begin the programme via the EIU Learning Platform.

1. Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A):

– High School completion or its equivalent qualification such as IGCSE (5Cs and above), GED (2,800 and above), A-Level, IB, etc.

– IELTS 5.5 or a score of 65% and above on EIU English Proficiency Test (EIUEPT). Those with IELTS below 5.5 or EIUEPT below 65% need to take additional English courses (Practical English for Professional Success – CEF Level B2)

2. Master of Business Administration (M.B.A)

– A Bachelor’s Degree qualification in any subject from a recognized institution.

– A professional qualification equivalent to a degree and a minimum of two years of working experience.

– Mature and high potential candidates without a degree or equivalent qualifications but hold Diplomas or Advanced Diplomas with more than six years of work experience of which at least two years are at supervisory – managerial level.

– Mature and high potential candidates without Diploma qualifications but with more than 8 years of – work experience of which at least 3 years are at supervisory – managerial levels.

– Demonstrate English Language proficiency in order to participate in the programme taught in English.

3. Master of Arts in Education (M.A.Ed.)

– Recognized Bachelor Degree in any field.

– Sufficient English language proficiency (IELTS 6.0 or its equivalent).

– At least 3 years of working experience as a professional teacher.

Note: Mature & high potential candidates without a degree could be considered on a case-by-case basis.

It’s not necessary to mail the original documents to the university for programme application. You can simply submit clear scan version of the documents to the online application portal.

Yes, you can apply for more than one programme however you will have to send different applications for each programme that you want to enroll in.

Academic counsellors are engaged as a link between learners and EIU. They perform various roles such as facilitating learning of subject matter content, assessing assignments, providing motivation and encouragement and supervising research papers.

No we do not promote any kind of early bird offers.

Currently we do not support loans for the study.

EIU will process the refund to the students as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 working days from the day on which they received the mail confirming it.

• Immediate Cancellation: If a student wishes to cancel the programme immediately after the enrollment i.e., before accessing any of the modules, then the refund would be 50% of the tuition fee paid.
• Cancellation after accessing 1 module: If a student wishes to cancel the programme after initiating 1 module (Irrespective of whether the module is completed) then the refund would be 25% of the tuition fee paid.
• Cancellation after accessing 2 modules: If a student wishes to cancel the programme after initiating 2 module (irrespective of whether the module is completed) then there would be NO refund.

No, distance education programmes do not offer placement assistance of any kind.

Graduation is the official confirmation of the completion of all the requirements for a programme. It is also necessary to ensure that the student’s academic file is complete before a certificate is awarded. Students should keep close track of all coursework completed and keep in regular contact with EIU. A student may initiate the application for graduation after the submission of action research paper.

If one wishes to be a part of the annual graduation ceremony:

• Fill out the graduation form indicating that you would like to be present for the annual graduation ceremony.
• Each student can bring along 1 special guest.
• A nominal fee needs to be payed to EIU for the graduation which will include Banquet for Graduation, Graduation Gown, Hat etc.

You can purchase additional textbooks if you feel the need but EIU will provide you with the course content.

Assignments will be submitted online itself.

It takes 5-6 weeks for the assignment score to reflect on the portal.

Grading System:
BOLOGNA PROCESS
A key principle in this process is that decisions on the value of a particular award, programme of study or part thereof are the responsibility of the receiving institution or organisation.

In order to ensure the highest possible standards of credit transfer, the European International University, Paris has adopted the guidelines of the European Bologna process system based on ECTS credits. The Bologna Process is a series of ministerial meetings and agreements between European countries designed to ensure comparability in the standards and quality of higher education qualifications.

Through the Bologna Accords, the process has created the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), in particular under the Lisbon Recognition Convention.

European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System
The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is a standard aimed at comparing the study attainments and performances of higher education students across the European Union and other collaborating European countries. For each successfully completed study programme, ECTS credits are awarded. One academic year corresponds to 60 ECTS-credits, that are equivalent to 1,500–1,800 hours of study in all countries, respective of standard or qualification type, and is used to facilitate transfer and progression throughout the Union.

Certificates issued by the European International University, Paris have been accepted by Institutions, Business Schools, and Universities of several countries.

DEGREE PROGRAMMES:
EIU-Paris follows European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS academic credits scheme). The ECTS credit system makes degree programmes and student performance more transparent and comparable all across European Union countries.

B.B.A Grading Scheme:
Each B.B.A. programme consists of 24 core modules including a final year research project module. Each of the 24 modules carry 7.5 ECTS (7.5*24 = 180 ECTS).

M.B.A. Grading Scheme:
Each M.B.A. programme consists of 8 core modules and an Action Research paper for the area of specialisation. Each of the 8 modules carry 7.5 ECTS (7.5*8 = 60 ECTS) and the Action Research paper carries 30 ECTS making total ECTS for the M.B.A. programme 90.

M.S.IET. Grading Scheme:
The M.S.IET. programme consists of 7 core modules and an Action Research paper. Each of the 7 modules and action research paper carry 7.5 ECTS (7.5*8 = 60 ECTS) making the total ECTS for M.A.Ed. programme 60. Before the evaluation, the results are divided into two subgroups: Pass and Fail.

The grading system is defined as follows:
