The BBA Top-up Programme is a final-year academic pathway designed for students who already hold a Level 5 qualification, diploma in business/management, or associate degree in a related field. It enables students to complete the final 60 ECTS credits of their bachelor’s degree and earn an internationally benchmarked Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) awarded by EIU–Paris.

The final Capstone Project allows learners to explore a niche focus within their specializationβ€”for instance, a student in International Business Management may choose to focus their project on Strategic HRM.

International Business Management
  1. IBM310 International Business Management (7.5ECTS)
    This module explores fundamental concepts of business on a global scale and develops the learner’s understanding of the interdependent intricacies of international trade, politics, and culture, and their impact on international business management
  2. IBM320 Managing International Workforce (7.5ECTS)
    Multinational firms deal with different cultures, customs, and practices from their employees, and have to create policies that are both fair and respectful of their employee’s multicultural traditions. This module will help the student look at all of the different complexities of managing a diverse workforce.
  3. IBM330 International Business Environment (7.5ECTS)
    The international business environment includes many different topics from supply and demand, tariff and taxes, to the political climate and more. This module explores the multidimensional aspects of the international business environment.
  4. IBM340 International Economics (7.5ECTS)
    International Economics is the module that explores why countries trade with each other, who regulates trade, and how trade is conducted between countries.
  5. IBM350 International Marketing (7.5ECTS)
    International Marketing is the application of marketing principles in multiple international markets. This module, International Marketing, looks into the social, political, economic, and environmental factor of marketing.
  6. IBM360 Import and Export Management (7.5ECTS)
    This module will look at the necessary strategies used to import and export goods, how to properly document inbound and outbound products and to effectively use trade agreements to the benefit of the company.
  7. IBM370 International Trade and Contemporary Issues (7.5ECTS)
    Trade policies affect which country an international corporation can operate, and conduct business. This module will help to develop a learner’s ability to assess the international trade environment.
  8. IBM380 International Business Management Capstone Project (7.5ECTS)
    This module will allow the learner to demonstrate his/her knowledge of both theories and the understanding of practical applications in International Business Management. By completing the Capstone Project, learners will demonstrate their abilities to apply the necessary theories in real-world applications.
  1. MKT310 Marketing Image Branding and Recognition (7.5ECTS)
    This module will look at the techniques that marketers use to promote and market the consistent identity of their brands to consumers. It focuses on topics such as positive branding, brand identity, brand image, and branding marketing strategies.
  2. MKT320 Social Media Management (7.5ECTS)
    This module will look into the strategies and tools used by social media marketers to strategically promote value for companies’ brands.
  3. MKT330Β Integrated Marketing Communication (7.5ECTS)
    This module will help a student to learn the necessary strategies to create an integrated marketing platform for a company.
  4. MKT340Β Digital Marketing (7.5ECTS)
    This module develops a student’s insight into the digital marketing world. It covers topics such as digital marketing strategies and digital marketing analytics.
  5. MKT350 Consumer Behaviour Outline (7.5ECTS)
    Consumer behaviour is the study of understanding why consumer act and respond in a certain manner and an awareness of the behaviour principles to developing effective marketing strategies.
  6. MKT360 Sales Management (7.5ECTS)
    This module will help students understand the process behind managing sales. It focuses on topics such as setting sales objectives, managing customers, and how to align sales goals with the costumers’ needs.
  7. MKT370 Marketing Research & Analysis (7.5ECTS)
    Marketing research encompasses multiple techniques from collecting direct consumer data to both qualitative and quantitative analysis of data. This module will help students better understand the techniques used by market researchers to analyse the markets.
  8. MKT380 Integrated Marketing Communications Capstone Project (7.5ECTS)
    This module will allow the student to demonstrate his/her knowledge of both theories and the understanding of practical applications in the business world. By completing the Capstone Project, students will demonstrate their abilities to apply the necessary theories in real-world applications.
  1. FIN310 Financial Analysis (7.5ECTS)
    This module will aid learners to develop a better understanding of financial terminology while acquiring the necessary skills to begin to understand financial ratios and equations.
  2. FIN320 Budgeting (7.5ECTS)
    This module helps learners to understand the budgeting processes of preparing, prioritising and itemising revenues for a given period of time.
  3. FIN330 International Finance (7.5ECTS)
    This module explores global finance and economics including foreign exchange markets, international financial markets, currency derivatives, and international risk management and also examines monetary transactions that occur between two or more countries.
  4. FIN340 Application of Fin-tech for Financial Services (7.5ECTS)
    This module explores modern technology in the financial world and what applications are needed to create, track, update and audit financial records and financial transactions.
  5. FIN350 Financial Markets and Institutions (7.5ECTS)
    This module explores topics such as central banks and financial intuitions, retail and commercial banks, brokerage firms, and insurance companies.
  6. FIN360 Financial Risk Mitigation Management (7.5ECTS)
    This module looks at the planning, controlling, and execution of risk mitigation policies that will help a person make better sound financial decisions. It explores the strategies of risk mitigation in the financial service industry.
  7. FIN370 Corporate Finance (7.5ECTS)
    In this module, learners will learn about the sources of funding for capital structures and begin to understand what actions a finance manager takes in order to increase a corporation’s value for its shareholders.
  8. FIN380 Finance Capstone Project (7.5ECTS)
    This module will allow the learner to demonstrate his/her knowledge of both theories and the understanding of practical applications in the business world. By completing the Capstone Project, learners will demonstrate their abilities to apply the necessary theories in real-world applications.

    A sustainable tour must fulfil the visitor travel thirst while keeping the local community intact and without harming the biodiversity of the area. This module will give learners a better insight into the complexities of creating and hosting sustainable tours.
  2. TTM320 Tourism MarketingΒ (7.5ECTS)
    This module will give learners valuable insight into tourism marketing and how to create and promote tours that a customer would love and enjoy.

    This module will provide learners with the practical knowledge of the required steps to strategize and plan for facility expansions.
  4. HHM340 Sustainable Hotel and Hospitality ManagementΒ (7.5ECTS)
    This module looks into how the hospitality industry can decrease its use of resources, and take a more sustainable approach to manage their impact on the environment.
  5. HHM350 Hotel Business MarketingΒ (7.5ECTS)
    In this module, learners will learn the necessary strategies to market a hotel to the 21st-century customer. This module covers topics such as the use of an online travel agency, revenue management strategies, and the importance of effective digital marketing.
  6. HHM360 Hotel Financial ManagementΒ (7.5ECTS)
    This module also focuses on loan repayment and reliable financial indicators that examine the finances of a hotel.
  7. HHM370 Hotel Event ManagementΒ (7.5ECTS)
    This module looks into all of the behind-the-scenes efforts that event managers handle in order to meet the customers’ expectations.
  8. HHM380 Hotel and Hospital Management Capstone ProjectΒ (7.5ECTS)
    This module will allow learners to demonstrate their knowledge of both theories and the understanding of practical applications in the business world. By completing the Capstone Project, students will demonstrate their abilities to apply the necessary theories in real-world applications.

  1. Hold a Level 5 qualification, business diploma, or associate degree, or
  2. Other business-related qualifications may be considered on a case-by-case basis, orΒ 
  3. Mature Entry: Minimum 6 years of verified middle or senior-level managerial experience
English Language Proficiency
  1. No test required if prior education was in English
  2. Others must submit IELTS/TOEFL scores or take the EIU–Paris in-house English test

Graduates of the BBA Top-up programme will be able to::

Each module is assessed through a final Application-Oriented Assignment (AOA) of 2,500 to 3,000 words. Assignments are designed to assess students’ practical understanding, problem-solving skills, and ability to apply theoretical concepts.

There are no exams or oral defenses required under this programme.

All learning activities, submission forms, and feedback are managed via the EIU–Paris LMS, a secure and intuitive platform offering:
