The Professional Doctorate (PD) via the VAE Assessment Method is a prestigious, honorary credential designed to formally acknowledge professionals who have made significant contributions in their field.

This is not an academic or research-based doctorate. Rather, it is an industry-aligned, portfolio-evaluated recognition conferred through the Validation des Acquis de l’Expérience (VAE) — a legally recognized French mechanism for the recognition of prior learning and professional achievement.

VAE Assessment Process

The Validation des Acquis de l’Expérience (VAE) is a rigorous, structured assessment mechanism. It requires the submission of a consolidated Portfolio of Evidence, along with a completed VAE Questionnaire provided by EIU–Paris.

Donation vs. Fee Clarification

The Professional Doctorate (PD) has a fixed, non-negotiable fee of €10,000. It does not fall under EIU–Paris donation-based honorary recognitions (such as Honorary Professorships or Honorary Doctorates), which require philanthropic support ranging from €12,500 to €50,000 and are used to fund educational access initiatives.

The PD, instead, reflects the operational costs of independent portfolio evaluation, documentation, issuance, and official conferment.
