Over the past few years, Dato’ Dr. Ben Lee, Founder and President of the Times Global Education Ltd has been increasingly recognised across the Asia-Pacific for his leadership and community service, and stands out for excellence in delivery of executive and educational leadership training leading toward Masteral and Ph.D. degree programs; and cooperation with cross-border affiliations such as Malaysia University of Science and Technology (MUST), Palawan State University (Philippines), European International University (France) and Euro College (Macedonia, Europe).

Dr. Lee is most well known for his great leadership capabilities. He is also recognised for the core leadership values set as foundations for his own leadership style: hope, courage, passion, inspiration, and integrity. These values have been essential to Dr. Lee in his own professional advancement and that of his fellow workers and faculty in the Times Global Education Ltd. and among his international affiliates.

Dr. Lee has taken the initiative in forming training associations with universities and colleges in the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Macedonia and the USA and has provided leadership in establishment of an international open learning consortium in the Philippines, bringing schools together, expanding availability of educational opportunities, providing for capacity-building, and upgrading university and college teaching faculties toward earning higher academic qualifications.

Dr. Lee was appointed Visiting Professor for Palawan State University, Southern Luzon State University, Laguna State Polytechnic University, Sultan Kudarat State University, Ifugao State University and European International University.

Dr. Lee was honoured with the DSPN (Darjah Setia Pangkuan Negeri) the Order of Chivalry in 2014 by Penang State Government, Malaysia which carry the title Dato’. In 2009 Dr. Lee was conferred with DJN (Darjah Johan Negeri) and the PKT Medal (Pingkat Kelakuan Terpuji) in 2008. The DJN and DSPN Chivalry Order is a high honour conferred on individuals of good conduct and character who have exhibited competence and achieved praiseworthy deeds in important fields of endeavour across Malaysia.

On 8th June 2018 Dr Ben Lee was conferred with the prestigious ASIC Chairman’s Outstanding Achievement Award – Transformational Leadership In International Education. In recognition of his pioneering endeavours to develop industry / education partnerships which has changed the landscape of education in Malaysia and many other countries. Through his perseverance he has continued to evolve curriculum to keep pace with industrial changes and thereby providing with human capital that have the right skillset for enterprises to remain competitive and to adapt to continual changing, challenging demands. In particular he is commended for his leadership in the development of ‘life-long learning’ opportunities within ASIA.

On 22nd February 2017 Dr. Lee was appointed as the member of the Advisory Group of the Civil Services Academy (CSA) at Central Institutes of Civil Service (Lower and Upper Myanmar) under the Myanmar Union Civil Service Board.

On 20th September 2017, Dr. Ben Lee has been awarded International Education Awards by Accreditation Service for International School, Colleges & Universities, (ASIC), UK to recognised his outstanding contribution to international education in conjunction of ASIC 10th Anniversary Awards Dinner in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

On 12th April 2018, Dr. Ben Lee has been appointed as the Founding Board Member of Asia Logistics and Supply Chain Council.

On 20th October 2016 Dr. Lee has appointed by Malaysia University of Science and Technology (MUST) as their Cross-Border Education Advisor.  On 1st July 2019 Dr. Lee has appointed by European International University (EIU-Paris) as their Director of Affiliation and Business Development for Vietnam and China.
