Authors Retain Copyright

Authors retain full copyright ownership of their work. EIU Press receives a non-exclusive publishing license only. Ownership stays with the author.

Independent Editorial Review

Every submission is evaluated on academic merit, originality, and scholarly quality. Decisions are not influenced by personal, financial, or political considerations.

Global Distribution

Publications are made available in PDF, ePub, and Print-on-Demand through academic distribution channels, reaching readers and researchers across the world.

Multiple Publication Formats

The Press produces each work in the format most suitable for its audience and purpose. Digital, print, and open-access arrangements are all available.

Submission Process

How to Submit Your Work

The submission process follows three steps. Review the guidelines, prepare your documents, and submit your manuscript to the editorial team.

Review the Guidelines

Read the Author Guidelines in full. Prepare your manuscript using the EIU Press Book Template: Garamond 12pt, 1.15 line spacing, justified alignment, 6×9 inch pages, APA 7th Edition citations.

Prepare Your Documents

Gather your manuscript, author biography (100–200 words), abstract or book description (150–300 words), keywords (5–10), and any required permissions for third-party material.

Submit to EIU Press

Submit your manuscript through the EIU Press submission portal. The editorial team will acknowledge receipt and communicate the review process and timeline to you directly.
