B.B.A. in International Business Management (Top-Up)

Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in International Business Management (Top-Up) will allow learners to encompass various corporate and commercial activities across international borders. This major will give the learner a meaningful insight and understanding into the effects of cross-national activities such as the importance of contractual agreements, international risk mitigation, international logistics, and how to deal with international operations and activities.

Modules to be completed
  1. IBM310 International Business Management (7.5ECTS)
    This module explores fundamental concepts of business on a global scale and develops the learner’s understanding of the interdependent intricacies of international trade, politics, and culture, and their impact on international business management
  2. IBM320 Managing International Workforce (7.5ECTS)
    Multinational firms deal with different cultures, customs, and practices from their employees, and have to create policies that are both fair and respectful of their employee’s multicultural traditions. This module will help the student look at all of the different complexities of managing a diverse workforce.
  3. IBM330 International Business Environment (7.5ECTS)
    The international business environment includes many different topics from supply and demand, tariff and taxes, to the political climate and more. This module explores the multidimensional aspects of the international business environment.
  4. IBM340 International Economics (7.5ECTS)
    International Economics is the module that explores why countries trade with each other, who regulates trade, and how trade is conducted between countries.
  5. IBM350 International Marketing (7.5ECTS)
    International Marketing is the application of marketing principles in multiple international markets. This module, International Marketing, looks into the social, political, economic, and environmental factor of marketing.
  6. IBM360 Import and Export Management (7.5ECTS)
    This module will look at the necessary strategies used to import and export goods, how to properly document inbound and outbound products and to effectively use trade agreements to the benefit of the company.
  7. IBM370 International Trade and Contemporary Issues (7.5ECTS)
    Trade policies affect which country an international corporation can operate, and conduct business. This module will help to develop a learner’s ability to assess the international trade environment.
  8. IBM380 International Business Management Capstone Project (7.5ECTS)
    This module will allow the learner to demonstrate his/her knowledge of both theories and the understanding of practical applications in International Business Management. By completing the Capstone Project, learners will demonstrate their abilities to apply the necessary theories in real-world applications.

Specialisations to choose from

B.B.A. in International Business :
B.B.A. in International Business will allow students to encompass various corporate and commercial activities across international borders. B.B.A. in Finance :
With a B.B.A. in Finance , students will develop their ability to make informed investment predictions, and accurately forecast future fiscal conditions. They will acquire practical knowledge on various mechanisms of the financial industry. This specialisation will give students meaningful insights and understandings on topics such as commercial bank management, international finance and trade, commercial investment and risk mitigation and management.

B.B.A. in Integrated Marketing Communications :
B.B.A. in Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC)Β  will enable students to combine both marketing and communication strategies in order to manage a consistent image for a company. IMC is a 21st-century approach to branding and image management. This specialisation will give students meaningful insight and understanding on topics such as cross-cultural marketing, image branding and recognition, social networking management, and international business communication.

B.B.A. in Hospitality & Hotel Management :
B.B.A. in Hospitality and Hotel Management gives students the ability to take part of the hospitality and hotel industry which is one of the fastest growing industries in the 21st century. Students who study a B.B.A. in Hospitality and Hotel Management will be able to complete within the dynamic and rapidly evolving field with the knowledge that will enable students to excel in the workforce. This specialisation will give students meaningful insight and understanding on topics such as human resource management, sustainable development, strategic hotel planning, hospitality marketing and sales, and housekeeping management.

B.B.A. in Travel and Tourism ManagementΒ 
B.B.A. in Travel and Tourism Management will open a wide range of international doors for a person’s career path. An individual who embarks on a B.B.A. in Travel and Tourism will be able to choose from a wide range of work-related opportunities from managing a five-star restaurant in Portugal to an operating tour at a sustainable rainforest in Brazil. Travel and Tourism is a diverse field that will enable a student to travel and work in different locations throughout the world. This specialisation will give a student meaningful insight and understanding on topics such as travel management, sustainable tourism, tourism development and travel and tourism marketing.

Entry Requirements
  • Applicants should possess a High School Diploma or its equivalent, such as IGCSE, A-Level, IB, GED, etc.
  • Applicants should be proficient in the English language
  • Applicants should possess a high level of motivation and self-discipline
  • Applicants should possess basic smartphone or computer operating knowledge and skills

Mature Entry Route (done on case-by-case evaluation basis only):

  • Applicants without any High School completion qualification should possess at least 3 years of professional working experience in the field of Business or Management
Admission process

pplicants must:

  1. Submit all of the required documents via EIU official website.
  2. Get documents reviewed and verified by the EIU admissions team (around 5 working days).
  3. Receive enrollment confirmation with a Conditional Acceptance Letter and Invoice.
  4. Settle the payment.
  5. Receive Unconditional Acceptance Letter.
  6. Start the programme.
Assessment learning

Personalised exercises, assignments and/or quizzes are utilised throughout the course/programme to measure progress in learning. Such comprehensive assessment procedure is characterised by being diagnostic, formative (intervention-oriented), and summative.

Completion requirements

100% completion of courses and assessment therein is required to be able to get certified in the said course and/or programme.

Graduation requirements

To receive a degree in the programme of study, students must achieve the following:

  • Complete the course as prescribed in the academic catalog under which the student enrolled.
  • Complete unit and course requirements with a minimum of a 49% ECTS.
  • Complete the programme of study within 150% of the published length of the programme.
