The primary learning objectives of the MS in IT and Data Science programme are to develop a thorough understanding of various data science techniques and their applications. This includes learning how to collect, store, process, analyze, and visualize data using a variety of tools and technologies. Students will also gain a deep understanding of the underlying mathematical and statistical concepts that underpin data science.
Graduates of an MS in IT and Data Science programme are typically well-suited for a wide range of careers in the technology and data science fields. Some potential career outcomes include data analyst, data scientist, data engineer, business intelligence analyst, software developer, and more. These roles may be in a variety of industries, including finance, healthcare, technology, and more.
1. Completion of a relevant Bachelor degree or an equivalent qualification in a related field, such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, or statistics.
2. Proficiency in the English language, which may be demonstrated through standardized tests such as TOEFL or IELTS, or EIU’s own English Proficiency Test. Those who had completed their previous education in the English medium would not be required any English proficiency test for entry into this programme.
3. Preferably in possession of at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the IT or data sciences field; Internship could be counted toward this requirement.
4. Able and willing to work remotely and independently.

- Complete the course as prescribed in the academic catalog under which the student enrolled.
- Complete unit and course requirements with a minimum of a 49% ECTS.
- Complete the programme of study within 150% of the published length of the programme.
