Dr. Damber Singh Kharka is a Director at the Druk Holding and Investments that holds and manages 20 State Owned Companies in Bhutan. He has over 11 years of corporate experiences at the executive level and sits as board director in several companies besides having over 18 years of academic experience at the Royal Institute of Management in Bhutan. He continues with his research and teaching interest with extensive industry experience as a visiting faculty.
His expertise lies in areas of Economics, Finance and Corporate Governance. His long experiences as corporate director in different economic sectors, as corporate executive at DHI and as a trainer and researcher in different fields on management has provided him with a wide leadership exposure in different fields of business management. He is frequently seen as a panelist or as a speaker at the regional and international conferences in the corporate governance arena in Asian region.
